Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
CageDoku (“the app”, “we”) is published by Andrew Boyko (sole proprietor, Kyiv, Ukraine). This policy explains what data the app and the website killersudoku.andrewboyko.name handle. We designed the app to need as little data as possible.
What stays on your device
Your puzzles, progress, statistics, settings and streaks are stored only on your device. We do not offer accounts and we do not have access to this data.
Analytics (optional, off until you agree)
If you tap “Allow” (in the app’s first-run screen or in Settings, or on the website’s banner), we use Google Analytics for Firebase / Google Analytics 4 to count anonymous usage events such as “puzzle started”, “puzzle finished”, “hint used” or “paywall viewed”, together with the app version, device model, operating-system version, language and approximate country. The Advertising ID is not collected and Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. We do not use this data to identify you. You can switch it off at any time; the website banner can be reopened with the link below.
Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. Data may be processed outside the EEA under Google’s standard contractual clauses. See Google’s privacy policy.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage the “Pro” entitlement. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user ID, your purchase receipt and the store country; it does not receive your name or email. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Notifications
Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device after you grant permission. No notification token is sent to a server.
Advertising
CageDoku contains no ads and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data.
Website
The website sets no cookies until you accept analytics. Server logs (IP address, user agent, URL) are kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting. Fonts are self-hosted.
Children
CageDoku is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Because the app keeps data on your device and analytics is anonymous, there is usually nothing to access or delete on our side. If you are in the EEA, UK or elsewhere with similar laws and believe we hold data about you, write to support@killersudoku.andrewboyko.name. Use the in-app “Reset progress” option to erase local data, or uninstall the app.
