A Sudoku App With No Ads
By Andrew Boyko, developer of CageDoku · Updated
CageDoku has no banners, no pop-ups and no video interruptions. It is free to play every day, and Pro only adds extras. Here is exactly what “No ads. Ever.” means.
What “No ads. Ever.” means
The app contains no advertising of any kind and no third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data. The business model is a small optional Pro upgrade, not ads. You can read the details in the privacy policy.
What is free
- Daily 3: a Killer, a rotating variant and a quick 6×6 every day, with streaks.
- Hints that name the technique and highlight the cells.
- Dark theme, light theme and puzzle generation.
- All eight variants: Killer, Classic, Thermo, Arrow, Kropki, Sandwich, Chess (anti-knight) and Diagonal.
What Pro adds
Unlimited hints and puzzles, statistics, streak freezes, all themes and PDF export of any puzzle for printing. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers where offered) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and vary by country.
Why hints that teach?
Most puzzle apps tell you the digit. CageDoku’s hints say which technique applies (for example the 45 rule), highlight the cells and explain the reasoning step by step, so you get better at solving.
Where to play
CageDoku is available on Google Play, and you can try it in your browser with no install at /play/. Prefer paper? Print six free Killer puzzles.
